resolutions for 2012…

this WAS a yelp review, until i got some hate mail, and all of sudden my review was removed!  i now see that there are many positive walk on, pup! reviews.  very interesting, to say the least.  at the end of the day, these folks TOOK my friends dog and it is not okay.  if you love animals, please steer clear and consider advocating on her behalf.  these folks have lied, been manipulative, and are making very convenient statements/arguments in public forums about my friend to boot!  it is completely unacceptable.

and yes, my friend is still without her dog or any information on her dog!

at present, one of my friends is without their dog because of the owner of this dog walking company.

just about two weeks ago, my friend adopted a pit bull pup who was abandoned in a nearby park. her family had wanted a dog for a long time now, and it just seemed to be perfect timing. they took the dog in, and within a week of adopting her, took her to the vet to get appropriate medical attention. long story short, ginger was now family.

this is when things turned ugly:

on thursday, ginger was abducted by the owner of this company when ginger excitedly ran across the street towards the walker and her dogs, narrowly escaping serious injuries via an oncoming car. the woman then took the dog away with her and later told my friend over the phone that she would not be getting ginger back. the walker then falsely accused my friend of mistreating ginger and told her that they were horrible people who should never be dog owners.

the owner now refuses to tell my friend where the dog is, but she has also made mention (read: threatened) that she has taken the dog to a shelter and/or pound.

my friend’s family is heart-broken over this and really want to have their ginger back. they spent all of friday at different shelters in the area, asking if they had seen their precious pup, while pleading with the walker to return ginger on reasonable terms. the walker has not relented.

if you have the time to advocate on behalf of my friend, please consider emailing or calling this company about this issue! it is ridiculous and wrong on so many levels! thank you so much for listening.
